Things needed:
Shoelaces
Thread
Needle
Scissor
Procedure:
1. First FOLD the shoelace in the middle to make 4 strands.
Then start doing the BRAID.
2. Start making the BRAID at the folded area (like the photo above).
Continue braiding until you reach the tip.
3. When done insert the tip of the strand to the braided area to lock it. (Or you can insert it or attach it to the other edge. ) Hand sews to secure it.
4. Attach a bow or fabric flower to make it nice.
NOTE: I made this headband for my baby who has a small head. I used two shoe aces only and fold it to make it four strands. If you want to make for larger head use four laces instead and don’t fold at all. Just sew all four laces at the tip then start braiding them. Follow the rest of the instructions. Good luck!
