52 Moments / 6- Snow Sledding

Snow Sledding With The Family And More Updates

Finally we have enough snow for snow sledding. Last week we went sledding twice, tuesday and sunday. I have been waiting for this time to come. This year we have a dry and warm winter, I have mentioned that so many times already here, in short we do not have that much snow just like the previous winters. Well, last week we have a lot of snow and we finally did sledding in the hills. Last year I blogged about it too. I cannot believed how much Rianna have grown in just a year. She was so little last year, and this year she can’t even fit the blue sled we have.

We had a lot of fun. Snow sledding is a fun family activity, especially if you have little kids. Rianna loves it very much. We noticed that she is not scared to sled alone, so we tried. Hubby pushed her and then let her slide on the hills alone, of course hubby need to run and watch for her that she won’t hit anywhere. She really loved it. She was smiling and giggling and had so much fun. She is so grown up! Ahh I cannot even believe she sled alone, when I even took so much courage to do it alone myself. To be honest, I am not that confident to do sledding alone. I think I might fall down in the middle. In fact, I have never sit in the sled with Rianna and sled together.

On Wednesday, hubby went home from work earlier than normal, around 3pm. He was off from work usually at 7pm. He was sick and needed to come home early. I was so worried and didn’t even know what to do. It was very hard when someone is sick in the house. I was worried Rianna might get the flu as well. After few days, hubby went back to work and eventually got better.

My last workout at the gym was on Tuesday last week. On Monday we went again and tried to do our normal routine. As usual, Rianna was with us. It was about 30 minutes while in the gym when Rianna cried and was scared. Her clothes were full of dirt, and when I checked the playroom she had vomit there. Surely, she had stomach flu. I rushed to the changing room and washed her. I discontinued the workout that day, we went home right away.

In the evening, baby girl seems fine. She doesn’t have fever at all. After she drank her milk, she vomit again. Followed with few vomits on that same night. She puke after she eat or drink something. I was really scared. The next day, she seems fine. No sign of fever, no sign of sickness. She eat and drink milk and water, no vomiting. I thought she was completely fine by then, but I was wrong. Just before evening, while we were playing in her room she was so uncomfortable. Come to me running, come play with her toys and then run to me again. Suddenly, I heard some weird sound and boom she had diarrhea. I thought the flu was over!

Today baby girl is fine. No diarrhea and vomiting so far, and no fever too! I hope she is healthy again. We went to shopping today. I was planning to buy her more dolls, which her father disapproved. He believes that kids doesn’t need to have that much dolls or toys, because they get confused what to play when she has so many toys. I’ve agreed with him 50% only hehehehe…. Do you agree?

Just as I was holding the big Mickey Mouse toy Rianna smiled so big. And grabbed the toy from my hands. She already had small Mickey Mouse which she found while thrifting one day, and loved it very much. We are very sure she is a fan of Micky Mouse clubhouse. Every time she is watching that show I noticed she laughs so hard. One day, she was laughing so hard, as if someone tickles her, when I checked her in her room, the TV show she was watching was the mickey mouse club house. She really thinks the show is funny. She never showed any big interests on her stuffed toys before. When she had the mickey mouse, she just loved it very much and wanted to bring it even if we are going out running errands. It’s quite strange and cute!

Lastly, I’m afraid I cannot go to the gym anymore with baby girl. She really distracts me and I cannot concentrate with my workout. I think I can do it alone already without any help from hubby. He was my trainer and he do all the workout plan of the day. Having Rianna there with us is not good. I’m sure people complain in their minds while someone bring kids in the gym. We all know it’s not safe and it’s distracting. I have already bought few workout gear, and already take it seriously. Working out is part of my daily routine now and I do not want to stop going to the gym at all. So yeah,,, we will see!!!

And lastly, here is a video from my instagram where Rianna sled alone. She really loves it, and was not even scared.
